Climate Adaptation 2018

Everything you Need to Know About Climate Change

We bring you everything you need to know about climate change, and how it affects every one of us. We also do not ignore the leading cause of this climate change, which is often human actions. However, this does not rule out the place of natural occurrence.

Experiencing a Higher Temperature Than Normal

One obvious consequence for humans is global warming. Over the past decades, the world, and even closer, Australia, has experienced a higher temperature than normal. Asides from this, the recurring bushfires are sad examples of the consequences of climate change on all of us.

Though you might think you have not felt or experienced climate changes before, it isn’t true. There are many ways climate change is affecting you directly or indirectly. For instance, if a wild bushfire breaks out, it affects many plants and animals in the forest. The consequences of this are the destruction of their natural habitat. This may also force some of the plants and animals into extinction, as they may not be able to adapt to their natural habitat.

The Interesting Thing

The interesting thing is that many of the actions that cause climate change are as a result of human doings. Only a fraction of climate change is a consequence of natural occurrence.

Humans

For humans, many of our actions affect and contribute to climate change. For instance, the release of fossil fuel from combustion in companies contributes a lot to climate change. Even from households, some of the actions and waste we generate are a factor that contributes to climate change around us.

Materials

Some of the materials we use also contribute to climate change. For instance, the plastic bottles and bags we happily use and toss away affect the environment in many ways. Plastics ordinarily take hundreds of years to decompose. So, their consequences may even outlive some of these actions.

Strategic

As a way of moving forward, many plans, strategic frameworks and schemes are in place to tackle some of these changes. These frameworks are in different aspects of the economy and have expanded to the core of climate change in Australia.

Consequences of Global Warming

Successfully pursuing this to the end and achieving the goal would mean a lot. For instance, it would save humans from the consequences of global warming. It would save plants and also animals,

Finally, it would serve as a way of adapting to the many changes of climate in the 21st century. This is the goal, and we can all achieve it if we do our part in the fight against climate change.
